Recall that only those who are going to enter universities this year will take the exam.
Based on the recommendations voiced by Rospotrebnadzor and Rosobrnadzor, a collegial decision was made, following the mock exams, to begin the stage of direct face-to-face passing of the unified state exam from July 3, which will last until July 23 inclusive. Reserve days are scheduled for July 24 (for all academic subjects, except for Russian and foreign languages) and July 25 for all academic subjects. Thus, the USE calendar plan will retain its framework and will be carried out, as previously reported, during July, then in a second wave for those who, for good reasons, cannot take part in July, in August. Thus, all the conditions for conducting a timely admission campaign and the possibility of further admission of students to universities are preserved.
The meeting participants also discussed the issue of passing the USE in August – in the second wave – for those who, for good reason, cannot take part in the exams in July. The calendar plan of the second wave, together with the final calendar plan of exams, will be published on the websites of the Ministry of Education, Rosobrnadzor and communicated to each educational organization.
“It is important to keep the timing of the admission campaign. The calendar plan will be drawn up in such a way that the beginning of the Unified State Exam with trial exams does not affect the timing of the admission campaign in any way and everyone who wishes could enter universities on a general basis, ”said Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov.
The participants of the meeting paid special attention to the elaboration of the protection of the rights of teachers in the framework of the labor process. The next month is planned to be allocated by a teacher for the opportunity to rest before the examination stage. “We have come to the need to adjust vacations. We sent clarifications to all regions. We constantly respond to all requests, because our task today is to help, as far as possible, all participants in this process to go through this difficult period normally. It is necessary to hold a seminar with the teachers involved in the Unified State Exam so that they feel confident, ”said Galina Merkulova, chair of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education. The head of the Ministry of Education also indicated that the issue of protecting the rights of teachers, their support and assistance during the examination campaign will be of paramount importance and will be worked out with each region.
Speaking about the peculiarities of the admission campaign to universities, the head of the Russian Union of Rectors Viktor Sadovnichy noted: “It is important for us to conduct two waves of admission, and we, the university community, are ready to do everything necessary for this. We also expect to start the academic year traditionally on September 1. „
Recall that only those who are going to enter universities this year will take the Unified State Exam. Moreover, all graduates are certified on the basis of the current, already existing marks, and then they will receive their certificates. It will be possible to submit documents based on the USE results to several universities at once, and without personal presence. Enrollment will take place in August.
The examination campaign in the 11th grade will be organized taking into account the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor, said the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergei Kravtsov at a meeting on the situation in the education system amid the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
He clarified that the decision on the timing and format of the exam was made taking into account the maximum protection of the interests and rights of all categories of graduates. In early May, recommendations were sent to the regions, and a detailed analysis of the readiness to implement these recommendations was carried out.
“Points for the exam will be equipped with personal protective equipment. The seating of the participants in the classrooms will be organized taking into account the observance of a distance of at least 1.5 meters. It is planned to divide the holding of the most massive Unified State Exam in the Russian language into two days in order to avoid the accumulation of participants in the classrooms, „the minister emphasized.
He also recalled that all the organizers and participants of the exam will undergo thermometry at the entrance to the examinations, all audiences will be pre-disinfected.
„The exam will be organized alexis carrel hero essay taking into account the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor in the face of the risk of the spread of coronavirus infection,“ concluded Sergey Kravtsov.
In Russia, the USE serves as both the final exam at school and the entrance exam to the university. The Unified State Exam in Russian language and mathematics is mandatory for obtaining a certificate of graduation from a Russian school. In 2022, a foreign language is also planned to be included in the number of compulsory subjects for graduates.
Students who have returned home from educational institutions in other regions will pass the GIA at their place of stay, the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science reports.
This will affect, in particular, students of boarding schools, schools for gifted children, cadet, Suvorov schools and other educational organizations of the Ministry of Defense, where graduates from different regions were trained. The corresponding explanatory letter was sent by Rosobrnadzor to the educational authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
“To ensure the safety of GIA participants who are not at the place of training, we consider it expedient to organize a GIA on the territory of those subjects of the Russian Federation in which the participants actually stay,“ the document says.
Educational organizations in which such children studied should collect information from their graduates about their desire to pass the GIA on the territory of another region, receive electronic copies of applications and send them through secure channels to their regional education authorities. Those, in turn, will transfer this information to the regions in which the graduates are at the moment, where they will be assigned to the examinations and will be informed about the location of the GIA.
The issuance of certificates of basic general and secondary general education to such participants of the GIA will be carried out by those educational organizations in which they studied. They will have to ensure the storage of the originals of certificates and their issuance personally to the graduate, or to his representative on the basis of a power of attorney, or, upon the application of the graduate, send the certificate to his address by registered mail.
At the same time, given that in 2020 the filing of applications and other documents for admission to universities and organizations of vocational education in electronic form will be organized, educational organizations have the right to send an electronic copy of the certificate to the participant of the GIA at his request, prior to the personal transfer of the certificate.
