They began life together,
Walking the Common Road;
The first one, worn with struggles,
Bent by his earthly load,
Unwilling to strive further,
Chose a dark, cold bed;
Leaving forever the sorrows,
Cares and hopes he had had.
The other strove ever onwards,
Against down-beating fate:
One eye on the world in scorning,
One fixed on the Golden Gate.
At last, when stilled forever,
Crushed by life’s deadly blow
He took with him the Hope he cherished,
The Promise of long ago.
Death! Greater far and kinder
Than human eyes may see;
Each life but trembling drop within
Oceans of eternity. первый займ 0 процентовчестное слово займ на картубыстрый займ без электронной почты
